Metal
Suitable metal waste is separated and transported to a local metal recycling centre, where it can be processed and recovered for reuse.

Environmental responsibility
At KES, environmental responsibility is at the heart of our waste management approach. We aim to recover and recycle as much material as possible, reducing unnecessary landfill disposal and helping valuable resources remain in circulation.
Our recycling process
Suitable metal waste is separated and transported to a local metal recycling centre, where it can be processed and recovered for reuse.
Suitable timber is recovered for reuse or sent for shredding and processing. Depending on its condition and type, processed wood may be sold for further use or recovery.
Suitable hardcore, concrete and rubble can be crushed and processed into recycled aggregates, helping reduce demand for virgin materials.
Suitable garden waste, branches and vegetation can be processed through appropriate green waste recovery routes.
Where suitable, items may be separated for reuse or recovery rather than being disposed of as waste.
Materials that cannot be reasonably reused or recycled are directed to appropriate authorised waste management facilities.
Every load matters
By separating materials and choosing appropriate recovery routes, we work to minimise waste and maximise the value of the resources we collect.
